Representation in Westminster group present their petition to the Chief Minister and Deputy

The Representation in Westminster Group yesterday handed in their petition to the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister.

The movement presented a copy of the 13,000-plus signatures supporting representation in Westminster for Gibraltar.

The original signatures will be presented o the UK prime minister in due course.

“This move, to have our own MP, our own voice in the UK Parliament, will remove the colonial stigma, it will strengthen our link with the UK an at the same time will allow us to continue with our autonomy as per our 2006 Constitution,” they said.
