The Representation in Westminster Movement will be meeting the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister at No. 6 on Thursday 10th January. The Movement will be presenting a copy of the 13,000 plus signatures supporting representation in Westminster for Gibraltar. The original signatures will be presented to the Prime Minister of the UK Government in due course.

A spokesperson said "It is important that we have the full support of the Gibraltar Government and of course the majority of Gibraltarians. This move, to have our own MP, our own voice in the UK Parliament, will remove the colonial stigma, it will strengthen our link with the UK and at the same time will allow us to continue with our autonomy as per our 2006 Constitution.
